Key points from August meeting




  • Planning for Barclays Bank site is now out. 

            

  • Doctor’s list now ‘temporarily’ closed


  • Application for Brierley Paddocks going to Colchester planning on Thursday 15th August, for the 18 units/Alms Houses.


  • The committee discussed the new double yellow lines on Melrose Road; and asked if the decision went to a public consultation.


  • The Packing Shed Trust are looking for help as the costs of licensing their boats and drivers has increased - the committee agreed a donation of £500


  • BANNG's August meeting is considering SMR’s at Bradwell.  JA attending.


  • The committee discussed and agreed to becoming a member of ‘Open Spaces’, a national organisation which offers help and advice to organisations defending public spaces such as village greens.
